Training started with the British Action Academy alongside a couple of Dave Lea Stunt seminars, learning to fight to camera, block and choreograph fight scenes. Learning how to fight and fall in large groups to duets, using mixed weapons and unarmed combat.

Her special skills include, variety of circus, sword work, and falls during fight scenes. Many of these skills Emma has entwined with horseback riding, her additional weapon skills are mounted archery, flag and limited sight helmets. Also rides with confidence through smoke and large open spaces,she is able to take hits from a rider on horseback while battling on foot.

Emma is a keen archer both on foot and on horseback, having experience with small horse bows, recurve and the Japanese longbows for the filming of Doctor Strange Multi Universe of Madness, 2022. She is proficient in shooting both live and prop arrows, also able to load and fire both left and right handed, either hip or back quivers, able to work with bows up to 30lbs.

Recently participating in multiple firearms courses including CQB training with Alpha Armoury Services, Emma can confidently operate a variety of handguns & rifles includes a Glock17 and AR15 rifle.
